Ritchie
Well as weird as it may hears...on my laptop instalation of 10.4.5 I got a pause at the beginning after a minute or two continues loading and I read in the part that stacks "still waiting for root device" and below "Got boot device bla bla bla..." Anyone have an idea why this is happenning.. rohde
I had the same experience when I installed from a USB DVD drive. First the now infamous message "Still waiting for root device" appeared, and then when I yanked out the USB connector and put in again it said "Got boot device.....". Go figure. Ritchie
That might be the answer.. I use a wireless mouse and has the usb dongle that might be causing the delay or it's the DVDRW where it's on USB interface on my laptop... probably search or wait from the USB at first... in 10.4.1 I didn't have this problem... I 'll try to boot without the dongle to see what will happents...
