While booting the system my trackpad is recognized (ApplePS2Trackpad: Synaptics TouchPad) But I just can't use it, when I touch it no respond, nothing happenes. After that my keyboard dies. I have to plug in my USB mouse and restart the system. Can you please help. Thanks. smartie77 Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 try the kexts from my Lion guide, see signature. they even come with a prefpane for tap=click and scroll, and work as well in 32/64 and in SL and Lion.
