Phuture
Hi everyone, this is my first post on here so please excuse me if ive posted in the wrong area :/ Basically, ive got osx86 running using the deadmoo image. Boots up ok, and managed to get my network card working too Only problem im having now is getting my Apple Cinema Display to work. For some reason boot just hangs when i have the screen plugged into the video card (NVidia) I dont have any problems (apart from resolution size) when plugging in a normal 17" monitor into the VGA port, but the apple screen uses the DVI port on the card, so im assuming it has to be some kinda of problem with this? Anyway, any help would be most appreciated, as i dont think my mums gonna be happy with me keep stealing her VGA monitor all the time LOL!!! Cheers Steve (Quality Forum BTW, has really helped me out!!!) rohde
I'm not sure but maybe there wasn't DVI support in the old deadmoo image. The first thing I suggest is updating to a more current install: 10.4.3, 10.4.4 or 10.4.5. Maybe that fixes it.
