account
Now that MSI has started shipping the Wind it turns out the touchpad they are using is no longer made by Synaptic. The major drawbacks here are: A. it does not appear that Tap to Click can be disabled in any OS B. "multitouch gestures" are apparently not supported as advertised (not even in Windows) C. expect a longer wait (infinite wait?) for non-Windows drivers, since Sentelic is not exactly a well-known brand If you like tap-to-click, then you'll be fine. If you're like me and you can't stand it, then I would advise against picking one up. Happy new MSI Wind owners discuss the improvement here: http://forums.msiwind.net/general-discussi...hpad-t2133.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120823-alert-msi-wind-no-longer-ships-with-same-touchpad/ Share on other sites
iDerf2006
Came home to my new MSI Wind and just found that. It's driving me absolutely up the wall. Really destroying what would otherwise be a perfect machine for me.
