privatesnuffy
Now that the "nehalem" intels have officially been dubbed core i7, and are due for an october launch, do you think these will start to appear in Macs? My bottom dollar has to be yes, and probably sooner than we think. 10.5.5 is on the way, and the "bloomfield" processors I think will find their place in the imacs. I think apple will wait until the new Xeons (beckton) chips come out in 2009 for the new release of their mac pro. thoughts? poopmonkey
They might, but they will probably wait a bit for the processors to be adapted to the industry. This is because the new Nehalem chips will bring with them new cpu sockets and therefore new motherboards which will cause new drives to appear.
