I will be installing OSX86 on it and sound has to work perfectly (with mic and headphone jack), have a dedicated video card (Nvidia or ATI) and WiFI has to work (Dell wireless card..... coleshill121 Posted August 12, 2008 Author Share Posted August 12, 2008 Yeah, I managed it on my desktop and I'm not really that bothered by their useless waranty. They normally say do a system restore and that's it. All that happens is you get a very expensive phone bill to India! I'm looking at the Studio 15, but I've heard there are sound problems . There is nothing on the HCL about the newer vostro models and the Studios. I'll probably end up going for the studio with blu-ray for £609. BTW, I'm not bothered by 15.4" or 17". Don't carry it much.
