amoeller
I'm trying to dual boot Vista and the Retail OS X Leopard on two different hard drives. I have OS X Leopard all up and working with GUID (I wanted MBR but setup would not let me) and Vista with MBR both on different hard drives. They both boot fine but everything I try I can't get the Vista boot loader to boot OS X Leopard on GUID. In the past only MBR has worked. On OS X Leopard I have Chameleon and that works fine when not trying to boot with Vista like in the BIOS. I tried using chain0 but thats for MBR and I used boot0, boot0.gpt, and boot0.efi and none of them work. When I used MBR on an other install chain0 worked great. If someone could help me that would be great. amoeller
I got it to work by using the iATKOS 4i DVD to install the Darwin EFI in single user mode by using the command "darwin" after installing the retail copy of leopard. Now everything works including dual boot using boot.gpt in BCDEdit.
