RMFX
Hi guys. I'm having a problem with certain folders being corrupt in my ntfs drivers after accessing them from within OSX. The folders are now corrupt and unreadable in Windows but can still be accessed freely from within OSX. My C drive has a few folders like this such as Documents and settings being totally inaccessible, but another whole NTFS disk is now corrupted and can't be opened in windows. I cannot even perform a disk check on it. Does anyone have any ideas on why that would be and how to fix it? I really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. lord_muad_dib
by default mac os cannot write on ntfs partitions so cannot harm data, have you installed ntfs3g or paragon? RMFX
I installed the optional ntsf driver that came with the release so it must be one of them. You may want to try Hiren's boot CD to see if anything he has on it can help. http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120551-corrupted-folders-in-ntfs-partitions-after-accessing-with-osx/#findComment-853236 Share on other sites
