DiaboliK
i found this scouring the net trying to find some working drivers for the intel pro 2200bg wireless card (found in most intel centrino laptops) heres a link to the sourceforge page. http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/ i have no experience in porting or driver building. so if theres someone willing to give it a try i know theres a few people who would give thanks to you. me included. BTW: i did see this thread, http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=3275 but....guess what?? no driver!? seems like there was some development but i guess they gave up. ace11
This thread is quite worlthless and should be remved. P.S. That driver can not be used in OSX86. And the people working on this centrino wireless driver for OSX86 know what they are doing. U.C.
There is no driver being developed. Tuxx cant get 10.4.3 to work on his laptop (Last i heard). Basically everybody abandoned it and bought a 1450 Dell Truemobile MiniPCI or the Dlink DWL122g Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12051-open-source-linux-intel-pro-wireless-2200-driver/#findComment-77336 Share on other sites
boogiee
somewhere in the coming days I believe someone is going to release a driver for mac. We still have to wait and see what that driver is going to do but so far at least your network card is seen with the iwi2200 driver available now. just check the previously mentioned topic for the status Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12051-open-source-linux-intel-pro-wireless-2200-driver/#findComment-80012 Share on other sites
