maxexcloo
I recently acquired a Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD and have been attempting to install it onto my computer. I tried installing it onto a WD 30GB IDE HD set as master using an LG multi DVD burner set as slave and then, when that didn't work, I used a 20GB Quantum Fireball. My problem is that, when I have finished customizing my selection of what to install (The GUI loads and there are no ewrrors) and I click install, it goes to either 18% or 28% (Depends on the HDs) and then hangs. I have tried leaving it for a few hours and the log reveals nothing. cosmo1t
click window, log, then select the drop down, and select all.. and maybe paste something useful. But usually, it's a bad burn, bad ide, or bad sata, or try a different distro. laterz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120469-installation-hanging/#findComment-853556 Share on other sites
Gujal
Kalyway 10.5.2 does not include the drivers required for your chipset VT8237. TheStevo has made a patch for this and if you use it probably you will have better result. Read about thestevo's 4.5 patch for Kalyway 10.5.2 here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120469-installation-hanging/#findComment-853621 Share on other sites
