mobilezone Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Situation: whit every distro i have the same problem: installation ok whit no problem on reboot the system start only in safe boot (-v -x) if i go to start in normal or diagnostic (-v) the sistem start and in the text line proceed all ok but in a moment (whitout error or kernel panic) the screen hang up whit visive artifice violet and dark and the system hang-up whitout any result if no reboot.... any one can help me???? in the image attached there are the exact point where the system freeze on artefact screen..... Installation: whitout any problem (only whit leo4all v3 require a exernal dvd to finish installation) all the type of kernel selected (9.2 vanilla or stock, 9.4 vanilla or modbin) Kext: only ichx where present, Jmicron controller, Sata (in leo4all and kaliway), Azalia and ac97 for audio, and hd 3870x2, marvell for ethernet, Zydas-ZD1211-1215 and RT2860 for wi-fi and nothing else. My system: Asus p5e3 , ddr 3 1633, ati hd 3870x2, 2 sata hd and 1 ide on jmicron controller (leopard see all in installation and in safe mode), wi-fi; usb zd1211b or pci sitecom wl-181 System installed in single hd whit dual boot (winxp whit acronis os selector) no any problem at boot.
