tuxianer
hello, i have the following notebook: LG E500 V.APSCG Intel® Core’2 Duo CPU T8100 (2,10 GHz, 3 MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB) Chipset: SiS 671 DX i have tried to install leo4allv3. The first problem was that after booting the install dvd the sys resets permanentl. So I have deaktivated 1 Core in thebios. The install was good. Ath first I have tried 2 vanillia kernels. The sys doesn't boot without the dvd: HFS+ partition error. With the dvd + vanillia the sys resets. Wit a patched kernel the is still waiting for root device or it hangs otherwere. I hope someone can help me. thx tuxianer Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120342-leo-on-sis-notebook/ Share on other sites
Hagar
SiS chipset = no vanilla You need to find a working ata/sata driver for it to see your harddrive. Whichever driver allowed you to install should allow you to boot. Was the install very long & slow? I'm guessing it used applegenericpcata or thereabouts.
