Thanat0s Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 It's getting me sick.. everyone says that mach kernel is the same in darwin and maosx so why the hell darwin works flawless and booting Osx give a kernel panic : Error: Extention Archive doesn't contain software for this computer's CPU Subtype Error: Couldn't unpack multi-extension archive Seem to me a branch code missing for this cpu. on darwin mach_kernel go the md5 8fbc25d2f68e83f157e96c3196724689, someone could give me the md5 of the macos one. HotShot Posted August 26, 2005 Share Posted August 26, 2005 You're working under the incorrect assumption that: Darwin = OSX Darwin may run without crashing, but that doesn't mean there aren't problems with OSX that will crash your system.
