stanthemanh Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I started to install Kalyway 10.5.2 on my HP Pavillion DV6607rs (laptop) amd dual core TK-55 everything loads perfectly but when i go to disk utility the hard drive isn't shown. I tried it again on my HP Pavillion A6202n (desktop) amd proccesser but all it does is say "waiting for root device" I am going to try iAtkos v1.0R2 see if that works any help here? intrax Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Don't cry..it's not the end of the world ! Your SATA drives are probably not supported. You could try installing to a usb device and transfer the partition after install. I can tell you now that VMWARE will not solve the problem as installing any of the distro's on VMWARE is far more complicated ! You have been warned....
