Apparently it will fix an ongoing firewire issue i've been having in my kalyway 10.5.4 install. thanks!!!!!!! The issue is, OSX see's PCI installed firewire cards, but can't actually connect any device to them. It shows in the system profiler that it's installed... I can charge my iPod via my firewire port, BUT can't do anything data-wise. Also my iSight doesn't work. Plugs in, lights up, but doesn't actually connect.
