DiaboliK Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 I picked up one of these cards : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814133211 its a PNY Nvidia Quadro NVS190 256mb pci-e 1x card. g86 based and sits at half height with passive heatsink (no annoying fan whurr), so anyone wanting a nice card for an htpc or jsut a nice card for extra monitors for thier unused ci-e 1x slot. i torture tested the card in various benchmarking utilities and some real world tests and it passed with flying colors. openmark reuslts @ 1920x1200x32 : 9685 2 hd movies palying at 1080i with full post processing for each and no glitches or clipping, both ran just flawlessly. all in all for a 1x pci-e card for ~140$ its a nice card to fill your unused 1x pci-e slot. oh and btw, this puppy uses 20w max so all you mini-itx builders dont have to upgrade your pico psu's -proof is in the pudding- -D- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119714-htpc-perfect-nvidia-card-pny-quadro-nvs290/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
