robcropper Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Emachine W3115. Its Amd Processor, 1 gig ram, ATI Radeon HD3450 512 video card, Sound Blaster Live Sound Card, And an Nforce chipset and ethernet. I think its Nforce4. Installed fine, I wasn't sure which kernel was the best one for the system so I went with the one assigned by default. OS boots great and works Fluidly. My Video Card works without any drivers, but no sound or internet. Can someone please help me get these 2 things kinked out? I am still fairly new to this also, so I may need more in detailed instructions. Thanks and hope someone can help me. Oh if it helps my internet is Verizon Fios, and is connected from router+modem combo to pc.
