xtofu Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 alc861 is really a headache. and i found a solution on forum: bbs.pcbeta.com to share with you guys here who suffered. install TarugaALC862Installer,then unzip the "new0862", copy ALCinject.kext and AppleHDAkext to /System/Library/Extensions/ in Terminal type commands: sudo -s chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/*.kext chown -R 0:0 /System/Library/Extensions/*.kext rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.* reboot then should be ok, to remind this only makes your soundcard work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119599-realtck-alc8610x17aa3802-works/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
