jake123
I just installed a fresh copy of iATKOS v4i (10.5.4), after it installed I downloaded and properly installed NVinject Go 2.0c, it gave me my native resolution automatically, yet it didn't give me quartz extreme. Does anyone know what I should do? On my last install (i messed it up trying to fix this problem) I installed the 10.5.2 kexts which didn't fix it... Thanks p.s. I have a dell xps m1330 with the 8400mGS. It has the latest BIOS update A12, which corrected something with nvidia cards. kytzu
in Nvinject is 10.5.2 version, will not work for 10.5.3 or 10.5.4. Use this tutorial to change it or download a 10.5.3 injector. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=107899&hl= Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119204-quartz-extreme-not-working-w8400mgs-atkos-v4i/#findComment-844268 Share on other sites

phantomc
I don't think there's any nvidia driver working for 10.5.4 (iatkos) at the moment. I tried NVInject, NVinstaller, NVKush and the link above. None of them give me QE/CI. But the resolution is working. Better switch back 10.5.2 or 10.5.3 if you want QE until there's a driver for 10.5.4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119204-quartz-extreme-not-working-w8400mgs-atkos-v4i/#findComment-844562 Share on other sites

chrisdarl
http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...&pid=851961 Take a look at the guide in the above link, I've the same graphics card, NVKush worked for me, however, it doesn't seem to work in a Retail DVD install of OSX (so far anyway) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119204-quartz-extreme-not-working-w8400mgs-atkos-v4i/#findComment-891532 Share on other sites

The only issue i have is a long pause just before the login screen appear, system seem frozen on the apple logo for 6/10 seconds then start and work. Before using NVKush i never got my card working with os version > than 10.5.2+graphics update Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119204-quartz-extreme-not-working-w8400mgs-atkos-v4i/#findComment-954646 Share on other sites
