$4000 to spend on a hackintosh build

I'd say a Mac Pro because at the end you're going to have a lot of trouble to get something as powerful as the Mac to work.

 

He doesn't want a MacPro though, if he did, he would just get one and not post a topic wanting a $4000 hackintosh.

 

It's not hard now, I mean the title of the topic is "$4000 to spend on a hackintosh build", not "$4000 to spend on a MacPro".

 

if you READ my post w/ my setup page you can see i do have about the same setup as he wanted with a few exceptions of the mobo and gpu (mines a g92 8800gt 1gb).

 

its as vanilla as you can possibly get, no editing ata kexts, no editing network kexts. 99% works oob (firewire is the one exception).

 

and guess what its already been tested and works great.
