adrock42
step 1 -> google your board and find out the audio codec. It's something like alc8xx, ac'97c, sigmatel... and so on. It will with out a doubt be on the intel page for your board step 2 ->use the search engine step3 -> listen to music I have a dg31pr and I had great results using taruga's HDA installer and a linux dump. the directions are under dg31pr on the HCL. you could also try the ALC888Audio.mpkg.zip which i think will work for that board. Google is your friend!!! Sorry, I'm all bout teaching people to fish.
