babyjenniferLB Posted March 13, 2006 Author Share Posted March 13, 2006 are you sure, cos i only earn $3 a day you see were i am right now my current set up took me 3 months to save up for and its not even finished yet. if i was back in the uk, or in the usa or canada i would buy a real mac before someone says. $3 a day dosnt get you much but it pays my rent, internet, phone, cable, food. just things that arnt made here i cant afford. i get 7000 baht a month, a mac mini is 36000 baht. I noticed you got a GMA900 setup (that is quite a FSB speed you got going). The GMA950 in the P5LD2-VM is only a small upgrade from that; in addition, you'll need DDR2 memory. The good thing is that the P5.. will support Pentium D (dual core) while most GMA900 won't.I don't know how you do it in Thailand but $3 a day won't pay for cable & internet in the US. Good luck.
