indeo
Hi All, this is my first post. i am trying to install OS x on a Intel PC that is already running Win XP.I just partition the HDD to make space for OS X install. Then i reboot and the PC boots from the oS X CD. I get to the screen where it tries to install the os, but the problem is that i cannotread aything on the sreen. the display is so horrible that the graphics and letters are not differentiable. Is it a problem of display drivers? If so where can i get drivers for my PC so that i can install mac. I have Intel 845 Gv integrated card and its drivers. Windows looks crisp. Any information will be helpful. TIA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118555-intel-845-gv-driver-for-os-x/ Share on other sites

bibendum
I am unaware of any support for the 845 gfx chip - AFAIK, 915, 945, 3000, 3100 are the integrated graphics hardware supported. You should consult the Hardware Compatibility List in the Wiki... indeo
Hi, I have an emachines T2692 PC, Intel Celeron 2600 (Northwoord - supprots SSE2), 1 gb ram, 80 gd hdd. I tried to get into the bios (which is by the way Phoenix bios) while booting, but cannot do it. I just goes to the windows booting procedure. I tried all "F" keys. none of the key takes me to bios. Nor can i even get to the boot sequence selection menu. Any inputs be helpful. Are these specs enough or do i have to give more. You sugges any tool that might give all the specs as required by you all. By the way I am using iATOKIS 2.0 dvd (which i think may be 10.5 OS X).
