roxas99999
Hello, world! lately, I have been searching for the ultimate OS. I've tried Windows Server ( too complicated, too dull, needed activation ), Windows Vista ( virus protection horrible, way too slow ) and now I've come to Mac OSX. I have a very good computer, with practically brand new hardware. Can anyone give me a step-by-step instruction on how to install it? Sorry if I'm being a nuicance. Thank you very much. P.S: I will give my system information if requested. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118336-simple-instructions/ Share on other sites
i*C
alright, here is what you need to do.. first of all you have to put all your specs in your signature (like mine for example) then based on your mother board you will have to find a topic that walks you through the install for your specific mobo... usually people dont answer this kind of posts... do that first. Korrupted
Run CPU-Z to see if your CPU supports SSE2/SSE3. Either will do. Use Everest Home edition to find out more of your hardware. Post your exact computer model. Search the forums, the wiki, and google. That's pretty much all you should need to get going. There are so many guides that I'm sure one will work for you. roxas99999
Ok, yes it does support SSE2. However, when I boot from the disc, It sits there for an hour and it loads and, after that hour, just hangs on a slightly lighted screen. There is no loading screen or anything.
