fatshitcat
Do you want to keep your Ubuntu installation? Never mind. You need to create one more partition on your HD. You can do that after booting from an osx86 dvd and then going for disk utility. Then make one of your existing partitions smaller, and use up the free space to create a new one. Be very careful when selecting the partition you want to install OS X to. In order to boot from both Ubuntu and OS X, you have to set up GRUB, a thing I can't give advice on, since I always installed Linux at the end, so GRUB would be automatically set up. Oh, and BTW, posting 2 threads about the same thing is a really, really, i mean really stupid thing. Never do that again. However, he is better off using parted under Linux to shrink his partition. Disk Utility could repartition of course, but he would loose all his data. Here is a guide to add OS X to grub. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry606752 Although with Tiger, just adding a chainloader entry worked ok.
