I got myself an Intel D945GCLF specifically in the hopes of using it with Mac OS X Tiger and ATV4Mac, but am afraid I've had no luck with Tiger! I've got Leopard up and working 100% right now, and have tried a 10.4.9 DVD, as well as a 10.4.11 build. For giggles I also tried loading up my MacBook Pro's Tiger restore discs with BOOT-132, all to no avail. Is there any build of OS X (10.4.8 or higher) that is known to work on this motherboard? Has anybody tried? I can supply you guys a picture of the error message if anybody thinks they could troubleshoot and nobody knows of a DVD offhand. Thanks all! Khan_Man Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Hi, did U find a solution to this problem? (D945GCLF + 10.4.x = working) I just tried my D945GCLF with 10.4.9 Uphuck v1.3. No luck. Stalled on hard drive detection. What is odd is I have a D945GCL with C2D (E6600) and it runs 10.4.9 perfectly. I wonder if the processor is not compatible with 10.4.9?
