aquayle Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Ist attempt at installing Kalyway 10.5.2 onto Asus P5N 32-E SLI Plus Graphics card Asus EN8800 GTX using an old Windows hard disk (still has Windows on it) - IDE drive .. NOT sata loads of text on screen when booting, then sits there with the re-curring message- 'still waiting for root device' IDE drive set as ist device in BIOS, boot from DVD via boot menu any ideas please?? - should I format the drive ... remove MBR .......
