drewyboy
Ok, I've got some of my wedding video on this HD and hopefully i can get it or else my wife will kill me. I get the "disk insertion the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" when I start up my hackintosh. The HD is connected IDE while my other HD is SATA which contains my Kalyway Leopard 10.5.1 and XP on it. I did some messing around with partitions to try and get Ubuntu on it, but that only screwed things up and i may have typed some things or done things incorrectly. My mistake was leaving the IDE HD connected this whole time, but was wondering if it might be the OS that isn't reading right and possibly the HD is perfectly fine. I got all the video imported through iMovie and luckly saved the raw files as a backup on my wifes Macbook, but I really don't want to have to convert every single 100 some videos. When I type in diskutil list, it shows up as disk1 but "TYPE NAME" there is nothing under it. I really don't know what to do.
