plasticphyte
I've just got iatkos 10.5.4 running on my machine (acer aspire 5570z) by following the guide here. It boots up successfully, however when I get up to the point of copying the two ionetworking kexts, it hangs on reboot (with -v -f) trying to install something called autofsmonitor. I believe this is something to do with it detecting new hardware on boot (the wifi card). Has anyone had a similar issue but got working again? RobLaw0304
i followed same guide with my 5570z and worked perfect....did you remember to repair permissions before you rebooted and delete the mkext? either way, try a -f -v on boot, that rebuilds your kextcache. if not try a -x to boot safe mode, repair permissions, delete mkext, and reboot with a -f -v after otherwise, reinstall, but use the kext helper instead of his method...it works and eliminates some steps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117049-iatkos-1054-installation-woes/#findComment-830787 Share on other sites
