aNeGaTiVe10 Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 hey every body am new to this and been lost in the whole hardware and driver problem..can any one put me in the right path and tell me witch os x is right for me here are my computer specs: Motherboard manufacturer's name: ECS MCP61PM-HM CPU/Processor:Athlon 64 X2 with Dual Core technology Chipset:NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Video graphics:Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE (i have a 8600GTS nvida installed on it) Onboard audio: 8 channel high-definition audio Audio CODEC: ALC888S SataHDD:360gb does are the specs can u guys pls help me figure this out? if u want the full spec of my mobo: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...product=3548643 thank you. Hugo Guerreiro Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Its your chipset You have a MCP61 chipset end because of that osx on the DVD cant read your dvd because it cant recognize the bus used to cmunications with the dvd and hard drives. I recomend you download kalyway since it was the only one i got working on MCP68 with some drivers of MCP67....
