him
I had a working 10.5.4 system with efi and mbr, I installed ubuntu on the same drive leopard was, never really used it so I formatted the ubuntu partitions. I got a grub error on the reboot and fixed it by using 'super grub disk'. Since uninstalling ubuntu leopard always hangs after: appleintelpiixpata then says waiting for root device I tried booting in safe mode, rd=disk but always get the 'waiting' response. I installed with the kalyway dvd, which i've now deleted but i have the iatkos2.0 dvd and booted into the install but it doesn't show any partitions on the drive I installed leopard to (the partitions are still there and intact after checking under windows). Have I wrecked my mbr? Is there an easy way to fix this? (I don't have any time machine back-ups) thanks for any help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/116887-removed-ubuntu-now-leopard-wont-boot/ Share on other sites
