emmab2k6 Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Ello All ! , I have just installed os x 10.4.3 , no issues with lan or anything .. only issue is my CMI8738 Audio card wont work , it worked in 10.4.1 no probs when installing dogberts patch ... i am trying to install the patch now version number is 0.6.4 , and i get this problem Installing CMI8738 kernel extension... 22com_CMI8738AudioEngine is not compatible with its superclass, 13IOAudioEngine superclass changed? kextload: a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/CMI8738PCIAudioDriver.kext load failed for extension /System/Library/Extensions/CMI8738PCIAudioDriver.kext (run kextload with -t for diagnostic output could anyone advize me on how to fix it ?
