resetu Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 the problem you have is so called KP, there is not a good way to fix this, all you can do is to try with other versions, you may finally make it. I rechecked the KP, maybe it came to this KP when the system try to function the speedstep issue, you can disable the speedstep function in the BIOS, try again, good luck. No HSDPA (And I don't care...) No Ethernet (don't know why...) No Speaker (Sound output ok : ALC 262) No TouchScreen Woo... lot of work to do... Just as already write for another tabletpc > Install Tabletmagic http://thinkyhead.com/tabletmagic/ and edit /System/Library/Extensions/Apple16X50Serial.kext/Contents/PlugIns/Apple16X50ACPI.kext/Contents/Info.plist and change the IONameMatch string from PNP0501 to WACF004 , delete kextcaches and reboot. RSN Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 For wifi replace with Dell Truemobile DW-1490 Wireless Card 802.11b/g - JC977 can find it in Ebay. Dont even have to configure anything Will be detected automatically. No idea why the lan not detected. Cheers.
