mainecrab
Ok, I have been trying for days now trying to get any adapter to work under OS X. I have tried 10.4.4 and It would not work with onboard ethernet. Ok, so I get my Realtek Card. It still will not work. I copied over the IONnetworking.kexts from 10.4.3 still not working. I finally download the update Myzar 10.4.5. Network still will not work and gives restart on Realtek card. Take the card out and it starts fine. Go and buy a D-Link DFE-530TX+, as it even has drivers for OS X. Still no go. I do not know what card will run under my system. Seems nothing wants to work at all. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. As no internet pretty much makes it useless for use. mainecrab
Using the -v option on booting it seems to stop on IOPCIFAMILY.KEXT. I dont think it is detecting the PCI which would be why the network card is not working. I dont know what to do now. Guess I am screwed. rohde
Have you checked the HCL to see if your chipset is supported? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11663-nforce3-a-motherboard-amd-sempron-3100-network-problems/#findComment-73577 Share on other sites
