HighTower
Everythink is OK, music, network (i'm writing this post from MAC) on native installation but feel that windows opening and closing little slowly, Photoshop is slower than on PC 2.0 Centrino. If you know let me know this is normal or something is not good. I don't require too much I want know only that maybe I can do to improve little speed. cyrana
It is slow since you don't have a 915 Chipset motherboard w/GMA900 graphics. It is night and day to have QE and CI support versus the VESA you are stuck with in any other solution. And a 2.0 centrino will be much faster in Photoshop. That is a fast CPU (2.0 ghz pentium-M) running a native application versus the ppc emulation you have to do on the mac. cyrana
u can test this: PCI-Extremehttp://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/8979 That obviously won't work, since no PCI cards (or AGP, or PCIe for that matter) have QE or CI support at all. Only onboard Intel graphics do. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1166-evrythink-works-good-but-with-speed/#findComment-13080 Share on other sites
