PGHammer
If you've tried the leaked V4 beta of Leo4All with onboard Intel copper gigabit (usually picked up in Windows as the PRO1000CT) or the PRO1000GT (the card-based version), you've likely noticed that red light in the Built-in Ethernet settings of your Hackint0sh that says your Ethernet is not working. Don't take it as gospel; there is a way you can get it kickstarted, and without rebooting. Change the setting *temporarily* to DHCP with manual address (I use 192.168.100.103 for this, as this is an IP that my router hasn't assigned), then select Apply; however, don't quit the Network Settings applet yet; instead, change the settings back to plain DHCP, then select Apply again. Despite the light still showing up red, you should still see the heretofore empty fields populate with the settings being grabbed from your router/cable modem/DSL modem/etc. Once this happens, *then* you can quit. (You can then select your Internet applet of choice.)
