Slcdabomb Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I am trying to convert the dmg to an iso. I keep trying over again and it works however I can never get the md5 checksum to be the same. Anyone got any ideas? Mr. Bond Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I don't know if your comparing the right MD5, but the MD5 of the DMG's and the converted ISO will differ. That's why there's a seperate MD5 listed for both. Plus, even if your MD5 is off, it will most likely still work, as it may just be something that was introduced when downloading. phor2zero Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I had the same problem, but I don't know if you're making the mistake I was. I would open the .dmg with UltraISO and then click File and Save As to save it as an ISO. This produced a different MD5Sum everytime. Proper Way: Select Tools - Convert ...........
