Hy Mates,

I tried for long time to figure out what file I exactley need.. Here is my Hardware spec:

Intel D915GUXL mainboard with GMA900 and an SSE3 CPU. I have natively installed by DVD witch I have changed this files:

-oah750d (Maxuspatch 0.3)

-mach_kernel (Maxuspatch 0.3)

The system works good, but iTunes is not that stable and MSN Messenger 5 isen't stable too.. Both apps crash after a few minutes! But I have seen that other doesn't have this problems with new patches and so on.. but witch files do I need for stable working with my dev kit configurations? and from witch version?

Thanks for your help mates :-)

See the topic 'New oah750d is big problem maker', try to download the 'original' oah750d and then let me know if it worked. There are a lot of persons who experienced the same problems as you and had more succes reverting to the the old oah750d.

Succes

On my 915 and SSE3 system, the only thing I did was apply the original CoreGraphics file back (the one that requires SSE3) and deleted the AppleTPMACPI.kext or whatever it was called. I am not using any of your other patches... I thought they were mostly for SSE2 systems. No crashes yet for me.

ps: where is AppleTPMACPI.kext located?

yeeeeeeaaaaa! thanks for your help mate's =)

i have used the oah file from xplode (the "original" file) and it works fine, and i'm so happy!!

was able to install adobe cs 1 and to work with it..

but for was is the mach_kernel file?

thanks again!!

The mach_kernel file is patched to change specific SSE3 commands to SSE2-like commands. In the first patches of maxxuss the SSE3 specific commands where just ignored, now he came up with changing SSE3 commands to more-a-like SSE2 commands.

For your information I'm using his lates mach_kernel but still stick to the 'old' CoreGraphics and oah750(d) files...
