rohde
I have a integrated sound card on my mobo. Some AC97 card. But in OS X (10.4.3), I only have sound in the left channel. On the Wiki I found some instructions that might help me, but I need to know my cards vendor id etc. Do any of you know a program for OS X I can use to get to that info (my XP indstall is MIA at the moment :pirate2: ) Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11633-sound-problems/ Share on other sites

Japanese_Ringo
Also, if you boot up using a free Linux Ubuntu LiveCD, which doesn't involve messing about with your OS X installation, you can use the device manager, or lspci in terminal. That's what I did, although I don't have sound working yet, even with the device and vendor IDs.
