OldSkoolGamer
OK, this is strange. I had it all owrking fine till this morning, all of a sudden I started gettng to the Apple logo screen, then the system would just turn off. Booted with -x, same thing. Tried -x -v, get to authenticate volume - > failed, kills all processes then shuts the PC down. Any ideas on what might have happened ? I ran into a similar error when I reinstalled xp on it's partition. I had to reimage the tiger load. OldSkoolGamer
Well, I did, but I have since tried using dd to reimage the drive with Tiger & now every time the same thing. I even went as far as debugging the HDD to remove all partitions & loaded everything from scratch, still nada, always error out with failed to authenticate volume - invalid B tree or something like that, ,then the PC shuts off.
