Racer23
Now I have this great OS working I want to load it up with programs. I would like to get Office for OSX not sure if it works on a Macintel yet. I also would like some DVD creation/copy/burning stuff. Final Cut Pro is on the list. My personal must is Photoshop CS2. What other programs are you all running? THis is my first time using this OS and I love it so far and really want to see what this thing can do well. Perhaps some webdesign software maybe some games (not a big gamer, I liked Empire Earth, perhaps Sims 2, definatly some racing stuff.

labria
Office for Mac (both X and 2004) works quite fine, but it's still under Rosetta.
SquithyX
Ok, this is a very short list but with luck other ppl will post there software here too: Universal Apps (i think) iWork - Works well (Like Office) iLife - Works well (iPhoto, iWeb, Garage Band, iTunes...) Rosetta Apps MSOffice 2004 works as well as any MS App can CS2 works well though can be a bit slow (i have found) Toast & Jam and Toast 7 both work (Deja Vu does NOT work though) StuffIt works VLC works but with out CI/QE video fullscreen can be a bit choppy Windows Media Player works but same problems as VLC Poisoned is good Tomato Torrent works DopeWars is fun and works Skype works (? Universal) They are just what i have and use. As for games if you have a graphics card with CI/QE then World Of Warcraft has a universal patch, Diablo 2 has a patch for it too. yehweh
Toast for CD, DVD burning works well. Office made my system crash for a couple of times, so, I had to let that one go. Talking about deleting stuff, Appzapper is a must. Its a shareware so you can test drive it. For webdesigning, If you are not a professional but want to have fun with it i'd suggest rapidweaver. It comes with a bunch of templates and is fun to use.

BE SURE to look at the hardware specs and such.- Kc
