Hi all, its simple.

I dont search any faq, tutorial, and nothing about a complete instalation for MAC OS X. I tried for any times and ever be a different problem. All texts i read its a very confused, incomplete and addicional information is too "alone".

Im a UNIX user. I Work, every day, with FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris and other minor distros. And dont have any problems with this.

I read, read and read more and more information about this instalation. Search in google, etc. I dont want nothing easily. I need ways for give my objective. More clear ways.

Im using this tutorial http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...DualBoot_10.5.2

With the download, come the archive, Add_kext_to_dvd_boot ReadMe.rtf . I open and read : See below the message:

"Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8

if you want adding drivers support to dvd boot then put kexts you want add to dvd extensions in this folder (you can find natit for at hd in this folder) and run Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command !!!
"

1st question, if anyone can, please, help me : How add this KEXT to DVD boot. Im using in this moment, at home, WinXP. I download the TRANSMAC, opened the image but dont find the correct dir to "put" him.

I have a ABIT FP-IN9SLI Fatality. Sata disk 320gb and 8800Gt 512 XFX (G92). (In install guides in osx86project wiki page, i read about all compatibility for my hardware)

2nd question, well i dont insert the kext in to DVD, anyway i burn the iso in DVD-R using InfraRecorder. The archive burn : Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso
Try boot , and come the message : SYSTEM CONFIG FILE 'com.apple.Boot.plist' not found.

I read any messages in this forum before write this. No other compatible message.

Thanks for the attention. And I promise, when this finish, with good end, i will write a true tutorial in portuguese for this instalation.

well 1: the add-kext-to-dvd thing ONLY WORKS IN OS X

2: the solution for the com.apple.boot.plist not found error is well documented, provided your board has the right sort of chipset. you state the model, not the chipset, so I don't know if this applies to you.

In short, you can not possibly have researched as much as you claim.

Welcome to the world of os x. linux/bsd experience is only somewhat helpful, and generally only *after* you have got through the initial learning curve and installation procedure.

Thanks, but is the problem, the learning curve is only applicable if i made the install. This a problem. Do u recommend only install for my system ?
