RaZ69
Question I know that this is not your area of expertise, but being as experienced as you are, I figured you could probably answer this more-than-likely dumb question. I'm currently building a MAC computer, which I've never done before, and I've just about decided to go with an Intel D946GZIS motherboard and an Intel 3.2GHZ HT processor. My question is this; if I decided that I wanted to install Mac OS X instead of Windows, would that be possible? If not, why? From my ignorance, it seems that OS X should be able to run on the same hardware as Windows, but then again, you're the expert. Thanks & God bless. pmcnano
Well i dont know what to answer exactly, the answer would be "yes" you can actually install Mac instead of windows. Your mobo should be supported from the numbers it has on it, and the cpu is supported also and has SSE3, so YES would be the answer i guess! Mac Ninja
Piccolo is right, your processor must support SSE3. Check that all of your individual hardware parts are compatible here: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.4.3 http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115163-mac-compatibility/#findComment-815691 Share on other sites
