I was able to successfully boot into 10.5.4 with a vanilla (9.4) kernel but am left unable to use my Lenovo X60 tablet's pen, mouse nub or keyboard. No apparent installation of the PS2 controllers off the Leo4Allv3 disc seems to fix it, and after installing too many of the old kexts from Leo4All my kernel now panics on boot. Obviously I'll be restarting the install process but I would like to know what I can do to make sure I don't end up with a laptop that I have to carry a mouse and keyboard around for. Miscellaneous facts about 10.5.4 installation: went fine, still had QE/CI on laptop, USB devices work fine, no power management available to me as far as I can tell (battery life would probably be pitiful) and no sound (but that was true in a stock Leo4All build.)

So...

How can I get my mouse nub and keyboard working and my sound working in 10.5.4?

(I need at least Kernel 10.5.3, by the way, in order to use the latest Xcode for development.)

Sorry stupid question, do you just replace what is there? is there anything else needed after copying them over?

If there's a step by step guide please let me know was having a look and doesn't look that easy for a newbie like me

thanks
