rohde
After two days of work I finally got OS X installed (10.4.3) instead of the old deadmoo version. I'm using the 10.4.3 8f1111 witg Wesley's patch. I have a SSE2 enabled Pentium. Anyways, after some 10-15 minutes of using the machine. I get the notorius "You need to restart your computer" message! I have appended this message with the crash log. Any ideas? I'm tired. ********** Host Name: jacob-rohdes-computer Date/Time: 2006-03-09 13:13:25.983 +0100 OS Version: 10.4.3 (Build 8F1111) Report Version: 4 Command: kextcache Path: /usr/sbin/kextcache Parent: kextcache [29] Version: ??? rohde
Might it be because the Wesley version isn't SSE2 patched? I can't seem to finde any info on what patches the Wesley version includes. I'm trying to download the JaS version and give it a go. EriCKY
Heh, actually maybe thats true! I, too had downloaded 10.4.3 pre-patched with Wesley's patch and I also get random "restart your computer" screens Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11471-you-need-to-restart-your-computer/#findComment-72341 Share on other sites
