G5rocks
Hi, i just made my 2nd hackintosh using an Asrock Conroe1333 667 rev 1.0 first one had an IDE HD and worked fine - this time is used a SATA HD. And now I end up wih a blinking cursor when booting - can someone tell me what i have to change in the BIOS to boot? I'm sure it's because i used a SATA HD this time. uh... help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114169-asrock-conroe1333-667-rev1/ Share on other sites
fatshitcat
Try installing hacked kernel, not the vanilla one. I have the same mobo, and Kalyway 10.5.1 worked fine. Not ToH 10.5 tho. G5rocks
here comes the answer: i named the partition HD "Mac OS X" when i created the MBR partition table - this does not work - you always have to avoid spaces in the name!!! (i used Leopard or Tiger before so i never ran into this problem before). Now that i started from the scratch and named it Leopard everything is working fine... to fat{censored}cat: as usual it works with vanilla kernels Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114169-asrock-conroe1333-667-rev1/#findComment-810172 Share on other sites
