Kalyway 10.5.2 w/Dell X300

Thanks in advance for any help/replies.I've tried installing twice, with both speedstep and sleep kernels... when after installation it goes to boot and hangs @ the white screen with the grey apple logo. I used the verbose switch and it stops at the line:using 5898 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers

 

I suppose it behooves me to provide as much information as possible..1.2Ghz Pentium D, 1148MB RAM, intell 2200 wireless, the boot DVD 10.5.2 works just fine, seems to go through all the motions without issue until I attempt the first boot off the HD. I have attempted multiple kernels without success (how do you make this choice permanent?)I'm puzzled why the DVD boots, but not the HD.

I think the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD uses Modbin 9.2.0 kernel. Did you select it during install customization?

disable LAN in bios. then it should go through for you, i have the same system and version of OSX86.
