Kurto2021
For starters when I get to the installation screen I cannot seem to get disk utility to launch. If I go on through with the isntall once I get to the part where I am to assign a drive no drive shows up. Is the issue that I have a serial ATA drive? I tried going into windows and using disk part to generate a a partition there but no luck. One of the weird things on the install is that normally you will see a gray screen with the apple on it but on mine that screen comes up for one second then disappears and I get a yellow band across the top of the screen. If I let it sit for a minute or so it will eventually pop over to the installation screen where i can select my language. I am using version 10.4.5 and my PC is a GMA900 machine with a P4EM64T 3.0ghz. an ideas? I was thinking aobut taking my HD and hooking it up to my powerbook and formatting it there (although the drive is serial ATA and my external case is IDE) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11387-installation-issued/ Share on other sites
