atae
Im going to try building a new AMD platform osx86 and got a really good deal on a XFX GeForce 8200 motherboard (nForce® 8200) (MI-A78S-8209). Has anyone had any experiences working with these? I have not been able to find anything with extensive searching. hi-phile
I have a Shuttle XPC SN78SH7 with the nVidia GeForce 8200 chipset. Specs are here - http://us.shuttle.com/barebone/Models/SN78SH7.html. I have been having one helluva hard time getting this thing to work with the on board Marvell 88E1116. I was able to install Leo4All v.3 but no go with the onboard Ethernet. I tried nVidia drivers from ENO - http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=125569 as well as the other older drivers. I even tried iDeneb 10.5.5, but that seems to be worse and I can only boot into the box in safe mode -x so I am not sure what is going on. My ultimate goal is to have a dual boot (500GB SATA with half Ubuntu and half Mac OS X. I wonder if anyone else on the forum is using the same box as me, and would like to know what they have tried?
