MacSpaces
o.k im trying to have a dual boot system on a my hp dv1000 series laptop i can install it it but is too slow and what i mean is during the pre-boot process everything is in slow motion i can select disk utility and eveyrthing but it feels like theres a 5-10 second delay for the computer to react and when it does nothing happens. i was able one time to have everything run fast move smoothly did disk utility fine during installation i got a dvd/cd may be damaged or dirty error message-when i took it out to clean it it went back to being slow, is there anything im doing wrong? i did a cpuz and it says i have sse/sse2 it did not mention anything else ike pae etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11353-centrino-15ghz-1gb-ram-need-help-too-slow/ Share on other sites
